Rooms are small, heaters are very good which is important. There is everything you need in the bathroom, and the room was cleaned by staff while we were out, there is nothing particularly wrong with the place but nothing particularly exciting

The kids menu is very good, the quality of food was great and desert was simple too. 3 very happy young kids!

The place was pumping. Not big, but the live musician had everyone on their feet dancing. Would definately recommend and go back.

There is no WiFi in the rooms, but there's good 4G reception at Thredbo, so this is not all that important.

I love seeing a menu that supports the local produce and the trout I ordered was devine. My husband enjoyed king prawns and pork belly which was amazing.

This is the best place to eat in Thredbo. Reservations essential during school holidays.

The bed is a good 20cm shorter than I am, but I'm not particularly tall! To top it off, the worst injury I had at Thredbo was from the bed -- there is an overhang just above where your head rests that is perfectly designed to smash your skull open if you get up or lie down in the dark.

This hotel was not a great experience as the ski rooms were crowded and wet, rooms were small and uncomfortable. Most of all, the other customers at this hotel were hostile against children.

The staff were a mixed bag, with one woman in particular having a very rude and dismissive attitude, such as telling us with a straight face that the place was fully booked when the next morning there were only 3 other couples at breakfast.

The walls are so thin, you will learn intimate details about your fellow guests whether you like it or not. The place is falling apart, and the cabling outside bangs against the walls constantly at night. Don't expect to get any sleep. We were told that the hotel "can't do anything about the wind". That might be true, but they can fix their building!

    Only reviewing the restaurant.

Compared to other similarly-priced options, I just can't recommend staying here. It wasn't any one thing, but a combination of issues that just don't happen at other places I've been.

The bath towels are the same size as my hand towels at home. The fan in the bathroom sounds like a gas turbine on its last legs, and is clearly ineffective because there's black mould everywhere from the moisture.

You have to go outside to go between the main area and some of the rooms, so you have to get fully dressed in winter clothes just to go get a drink.

The 2017 winter menu reads beautifully. The cocktails are great too.

Dinner is 2x as expensive and 1/2 as good as other places on the mountain, but breakfast was okay. There's no room charge in the restaurant, you have to pay on the spot. The door between the hotel and the bar is inexplicably closed after 9pm, so you have to go outside into the cold to go to the bar at night.
