We stayed at Milkwood recently and would probably not recommend staying here. For a similar price there must be better options. Car parking is advertised for 2 cars, however 2 SUVs cannot fit and use of the overnight carpark for the second car is required. It is unfortunate to say that the neighbours were rather unpleasant, particularly over the car parking (this is a shared driveway), and appear to have tried to park us in at the time we were packing the car to check out. A constructive approach by both the property manager and the neighbours would be to install clear signage on the parking, change the advertising to 1 car space and specify parking needs on arrival paperwork.

Other issues: 2 rolls (not full rolls) of toilet paper between 6 people for 5 days is not adequate; mattress protectors were filthy with stains of various bodily fluids; no doona covers, just sandwiched between sheets which come loose on first night; maltesers, popcorn and random dried fruit under chairs from prior tenants (not great when you have small kids); smoke detector was not apparently operational; safety info inside front door states 2 people can sleep in house (not up to 8). Some of these wouldn't matter except for the high price for a week's holiday: better would be expected. Plus, the neighbours and the property manager need to talk about how to improve tolerance of holiday makers coming to stay in order to better accommodate each other's needs.
