  Lovely place to stay, excellent breakfasts and well looked after. Whilst it sits on top of the mountain and is thus further from the ski fields, it commands exceptional views for this reason. Would stay again.

  Access was a bit steep even from reserved parking spot - there are a bit of stairs. The owner/staff was very friendly and did his best to accomodate us however the hot water ran out around 6pm and didn't come back for a while and he couldn't really do anything about it so the facilities were a bit limited. The rooms were nice and clean but there were a lot of stairs both to the hotel and in the hotel- no lift access at all which is kind of terrible after you spent the whole day skiing. Also not really close enough to the chair lift that you'd walk with all your gear there because of all the stairs.

  Handy to village. Ski shuttle to door. Comfy lounge room with good views. Accommodating caretaker. Steep access. Great breakfasts. Good value.

  We are a family of 4 and the one bedroom room 10 was perfect. Comfortable Accommodation with an awesome fireplace in the common room, ideal for lazing around whilst sipping on a muscat. The location was great as the free bus 1 was directly down the stairs and approx 3 mins to the main chairlift or approx 5 to Friday flats. The drying room downstairs was ideal and perfectly located upon your return back to the lodge, Also includes a locker for all gear. Breakfast every morning was great, also included. Greg and the staff were so hospitable, and would always help out in any way. I suggest you book a reserve parking spot which is $20 per night but definitely convenient especially if you have a lot of stuff. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the Winterhaus Lodge to friends and family. Certainly we will return.
